A real ‘opportunist’….homeless guy sneaks into ritzy hotels and plays it to the hilt on somebody elses dime.

pInvestigators: Homeless man arrested, stays at hotels on other people’s expense

I don’t care what anybody says.  I think this is funny.

The guys is homeless, he’s creative, he takes his chances.  It’s not nearly as bad as what those crooks at JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley….and not to mention most politicians do…it’s not as big of a crime as what they do every day ‘under color of law’.

Inside scoop from incredibly ‘chilled out’ Mcdonalds employee…

Marijuana deals, the pain of Happy Meals and how to get a free Big Mac: McDonald’s worker reveals secrets of fast-food giant (and warns against ordering grilled chicken)

This employee has an incredibly upbeat attitude about all that goes on ‘behind the scenes’ at McD’s.  Kinda funny really.

My Prediction For Hot Jobs Of The Present And Foreseeable Future

In this age of turmoil we live in I predict that we are going to see a re-evaluation in the career and job scene of what’s valuable and what’s not.  One of the skills that I see as becoming even more important that it’s always been is….selling.

And in the online world we live in…selling takes on the extra added dimension of being done usually with the written and/or spoken word.  That’s a skill also known as ‘copy writing’.

So what I’m saying is that copywriting, is going to become even more important in the VERY near future.  Why?

Copywriting will become even more important for the specific reason that everything is going to turn to shit really soon.  And people are going to become very, very protective of what little money they have.

Of course, governments are going to become even more rapacious than they already are. They’re not going to feel constrained by ethics from stealing or outright confiscating anything and everything of yours that they can.

But nonetheless, there will be for a short while I predict a few people who manage to hang on to some of their wealth.  Those will be the people who’ll be hard sells.  But good selling techniques will still apply and people who have those skills will have a ‘leg up’ on people with skills designed for advanced, industrialized societies with some semblance of order still remaining.

Our new society, for the next several years anyway, is not going to be very orderly.  In fact, I think it’s going to be dog-eat-dog. It’s going to real tough to make a living.  Even the Bible says that a man in teh ‘end-times’ will work all day for barely enough to feed his family.  But…being able to sell, either in person or in writing, will still be an asset.

A video tip to help you enjoy the 2012 San Francisco International Bachata Festival

I’m so sad that I won’t be able to attend the 2012 San Francisco International Bachata Festival being put on by Rodney Aquino at the Hyatt Regency this coming July 18-22, 2012.  By the looks of the schedule it’s going to be a really stellar event…featuring world-class performances by dancers and teams from all over the world, endless nights of great dancing in a 20,000 square foot ballroom and dozens of world-class instructors bringing all the latest and greatest tips, tricks and trends in Bachata dancing to those in attendance.

You can get the details yourself at their website: http://www.sanfrancisco.mybachatafestival.com/

They have a Facebook page too (who doesn’t, right?) but I think you’ll get more of the kind of information you want by the URL I gave you.

But here’s the reason I’m doing this post.

As you know, I like techie stuff.  And I like video.  If you know about this new site and service I’m going to tell you about, I think it’ll enable you to really get the most out of your video memories at the festival.

Think about it this way.

The cellphone you carry today is actually more powerful that movies cameras were in Hollywood only a generation ago, right?  But what’s one of the reasons people don’t take more videos?

For most people, the reason we don’t take more videos is because it’s hard to edit the content we make and also because once you do take the videos you’ve got to ‘put’ the digital content somewhere.  It real easy to fill up the memory on your phone, right?

Well, by using Google Drive and WeVideo that’s no longer a problem.

First of all, WeVideo has a free app that goes on your smart phone and allows you to upload all your video content directly onto Google Drive from anywhere you have internet access…even wireless.  So ‘capacity’ is no longer a problem.  You can happily capture each and every moment without having to worry about whether you have room to store it or not.  Just upload it to your Google Drive.

Secondly, the WeVideo full-featured, drag ‘n drop editor is browser based….meaning that you can edit and customize your videos from any computer anywhere (as long as it’s connected to the net).  You can capture video in the morning, upload it to Google Drive after lunch, capture some more video during the afternoon workshops and then edit it all into a nice little video on your laptop up in your room between dinner and the evening shows.

Imagine the fun you’ll have sharing your videos with everybody the next day when they can see them on Youtube, Vimeo, Facebook and Twitter.

Third, the WeVideo platform is set up to allow for easy collaboration….meaning that multiple people can contribute video content to the same storage file and multiple people can edit the video…like a collaborative video project in Hollywood.  Sometimes two heads are better than one, right?

Fourth, as I mentioned before….WeVideo features easy uploading into several popular social sharing sites….like Facebook, Vimeo (a competitor of Youtube), Twitter, and (of course) mighty YouTube itself.

I’m sure I don’t have to tell you that ‘social content’ (like video) is ‘King’ on the web right now and if you properly optimize video content and get it onto the right platforms on the internet you’re going to be almost assured of excellent Google position.  If you run a studio or have a private teaching practice, that can be very important to you.

WeVideo has four plans.  The most important feature of course is storage capacity.  The free plan is probably OK just to get started but I suspect that most people will gravitate toward the second plan, the “Plus” plan.  It’s $5 a month right now and features 60″ of digital time and 10 gigs of storage.  It’s all explained right there on the website.

WeVideo also features HD video format so the videos look real nice (if they were taken in HD of course).  To capture video content on your mobile device you do need a special ‘app’ but it’s available free from the Goolge Chrome App store.

These bachata congresses I’m reading about look like soooo much fun.  I’m really envious of the people who are able to attend.  Bachata has really re-invigorated the latin social dance community not only in the US but also all over the world.  For some reason, it’s not really at the ‘flash point’ yet over here in the Philippines where I am but I hear that Rodney is discussing doing a Bachata festival over here next year so…..things will undoubtedly be getting better for Bachata here too very soon.

I hear the rooms are just about all gone at the event so if you plan on going and don’t have your room yet…you better hurry.  You know what a drag is is to have to commute to these things.  It’s a lot easier to just roll out of bed, go down the hall to see if your buddies and dance pals are up yet, and then head down to breakfast together at the last moment.

And keep your eye on Rodney for some more great events like this in the near future.

More Afghanistan Casualties….for fucking what??!!

Our whole country is turned upside down.  The people running things don’t deserve to be where they are.  An excellent example of that is this bit of news which I saw on Frank Dimora’s site…which our fascist controlled media conveniently chooses to not remind you of.

We are asking everyone to say a prayer for “Darkhorse” 3rd Battalion 5th Marines and their families They are fighting it out in Afghanistan & they have lost 9 marines in 4 days. IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE the message spread if more could pass it on. Nothing in the media about these guys because no one seems to care:

Justin Allen, 23, Brett Linley, 29, Matthew Weikert, 29, Justus Bartett, 27, Dave Santos, 21, Chase Stanley, 21 Jesse Reed, 26, Matthew Johnson, 21, Zachary Fisher, 24, Brandon King, 23, Christopher Goeke, 23, Sheldon Tate, 27.

All are Marines that gave their lives for YOU this week.
Please Honor THEM by forwarding this.

Look at each and every one of those names.  Every friggin’ one of them in their 20’s!!  Those people deserved to have a life but their right to have a life was taken from them by that bastard Obama and the global banker goons who controlled him.

Those young men had  mothers and fathers whose whole life is, in some cases, totally meaningless now because everything they worked and sacrificed for is down the fucking ‘tubes’.  Their pride and joy, that little kid who gave them so much laughter and joy as he was growing up….he’s GONE.

Do you see any well known politicians’s sons risking their lives for a bunch of fucking rag-heads in Afghanistan?  Hell no…and you won’t either.  Those kids are not expendable….like we are.  Those kids have better things in store for them.  Those kids are the downline of the ruling elite and they have nations to build and brave new societies to create and the responsibility of making sure that ‘we the people’ don’t do anythign to harm Mother Earth..

Fucking Bullshit all of it.

Our self-appointed elitist rulers decided that it suited their nefarious purposes to have our sons (and daughters in some cases) go thousands of miles away to die in a country and for a people who couldn’t give a rat’s ass less for the sacrifices we make there.

One way or the other there will be a revolution not only in America but throughout Planet Earth.  And it isn’t thar far off either.  The people who sent those brave boys to Afghanistan to die should pay.  I can’t wait.

Gregg maybe does have some talent

Have you ever noticed “Odd News” on Yahoo?

There’s a guy on there, the host, name “Gregg Proops” who usually is sitting behind a desk, like a news anchor.  He tries to be funny and sometimes almost is.  But this video I just saw presents him in a different environment and he comes across as more talented.

In the video, rather than sitting behind a desk…he’s out front, standing like a ‘stand-up’ comedian.

I think he does a better job being funny here.  What do you think?

Is he funny?

The “Supreme’s” Show Signs Of Rot

You may have heard that the Supreme Court’s decision regarding certain key aspects of Obamacare was 5 to 4 in favor.  And the judge who, very unexpectedly, provided the swing vote to the ‘dark side’ was Justice John Roberts.

A freedom loving person might reasonably ask, “Whaaa…..?!

I don’t pretend to know a lot about the Judicial Branch or any of it’s personalities.  I only have an idea of where they’re supposed to fit into the 3 parts of government and the ‘checks-and-balances’ system.  And I don’t know this John Robert guy.

But looking at his picture and trying to imagine what might have happened to bring about such a surprise decision, I do have one theory.

I think he’s got alterior motives.  Somehow, somebody ‘got to him’ and offered him something else, not too apparent, that he wants.  He might have been ‘bought’.

In looking at this picture, in the linked article, of him with that shit-eating grin on his face….that just doesn’t look very judicial to me.  In my idea of judges, they’re supposed to be a little more ‘judicial’….serious.  Not actors in cereal commercials.

Yeah…..I think Mr. Roberts was bought. I’m just not sure what the price was.

WordPress….just another WanderingSalsero Blog?

Well, if I’m learning anything at all lately it’s about the value of backlinks.  Yeah, I know ‘social’ is coming into prominence too but since my primary blog is over on Posterous, and it gives me lots of really nice syndication (they call it “autopost”) options, I’m going to start a WordPress.com blog here.

Yea, I had a WordPress.org blog last year but it seems that I picked a theme that was just too hard to manage so….I never used it.  Frankly, I really question whether WordPress is the ‘cat’s meow’ like everybody has been saying it is for all these years.

If Google really sets the rules for the SEO game, and if they’re really monitoring social signals now as their primary popularity indicator, I just can’t see why they’d be ignoring all these other types of blogs.  The fact is, most people newly getting into blogging won’t know about WordPress.org and they also are less likely to want to spend the money to invest in it (i.e. the hosting especially).

So, I’m cool here on WordPress.com for now.  I might be setting up other blogs here too.
